Michael P. Sweeney, AIA
Michael P. Sweeney, AIA, is a practicing architect in Los Angeles with a background on projects of all scales from concept through construction. Prior to coming to Assembledge+ in 2017, he was a Senior Associate at Rios Clementi Hale Studios focusing on large-scale commercial, institutional and adaptive re-use projects. Of his primary projects, the West Hollywood Duplex was awarded a 2015 AIA/LA Design Award Citation for multi-family housing and the Temple Emanuel Beverly Hills Sanctuary renovation received a 2012 Faith & Form Renovation Award for its renovation of the sanctuary and social-hall in a 1952 synagogue originally designed by Sidney Eisenshtat.
Michael is a Former Board member and Vice-President of Operations for the LA Forum for Architecture and Urban Design has served as Co-Chair of ERNC Land Use & Planning Committee. He is also Board member of Eagle Rock Neighborhood Council, City of Los Angeles Colorado Boulevard Design Review. Michael obtained his Master in Architecture at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design and his BA from University of Minnesota.
