Summitridge
Project Desciption
Situated above the Beverly Hills, Summitridge is a proposal for 30,000 square-feet residence featuring 180-degree views of Los Angeles.
A narrow drive, carved through the hills arrives at a court, where the main entrance is located. A glass wall reveals the main living areas, expanding to the back of the house and sideways. Glass passageways open to porches that extend the living and gathering areas into the exterior. An infinity lap pool reaches out and runs through the residence, dividing the living areas into two.
Buried green roofs and a rich palette of materials soften the building and the impact of its square-footage on the site. Inclusive of series of wings for family members, guesthouses and service wings, Summitridge is designed to assimilate into its surrounding environment.
