Project Designer
Hailing from Tucson, Athena holds a Bachelor’s degree in Design Management from Arizona State University and a Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Arizona, where she graduated summa cum laude.
Throughout her academic pursuits, Athena’s focus encompassed the intricate dynamics of public spaces – how they evolve over time under the influence of those who utilize and inhabit them. Her fascination lies in the ability of these spaces to foster connections between individuals and their environment, forging meaningful relationships.
Before joining Assembledge+, Athena dedicated her expertise to the realm of modern desert residential projects, during which she gained a deeper comprehension of land ethics and how to harmonize design with intricate site-specific elements, spanning topographical, cultural, environmental, and ecological factors.
Her curiosity lies in the intersection of conceptual drawings and the practicalities of the project site—comprehending the construction process and how it can illuminate more clever design solutions and detailing.
