
Chris Gallegos, LEED AP BD+CProject Designer
Chris holds a Bachelor of Interior Architecture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Design. He received the Paul M. Heffernan Grant to perform research for his graduate thesis that explored the social and political influencers of climate change on the built environment in a developing nation.
Prior to joining Assembledge+, Christopher worked for the City of New York Mayor’s Office, Perkins + Will, and multi-disciplinary firms across the country that sought to explore opportunities at the confluence of sustainability, equity, and design spanning a career of over 15 years. At Assembledge+ he is a Project Designer working on a wide range of project types of various scales and complexities. He has a LEED AP BD+C accreditation, is the Sustainability Champion for the Studio, and is currently studying to become a licensed Architect. In his free time, he enjoys exploring many of California’s beautiful national parks.
